It is the internationally preferred solution for new air conditioning devices, heat pumps, etc. Unlike R-22, R-410A works at much higher pressures and exclusively with POE synthetic oil. The huge advantage of R-410A is its high cooling capacity which can be up to 50% higher than R-22. Because of this, it is possible to use smaller components and create more compact machines than R-22. Copper accessories, pipes, valves, compressors, etc. must be designed to withstand the pressure rise of R-410A. Due to its working pressures, R-410A is not suitable for the conversion of existing devices operating with R-22. For such a conversion, R-424A drop-in replacement or R-407C retrofit would be recommended.\”
