R32 is a pure hydrofluorocarbon (HFC), with a low GWP and a strong cooling power. It finds various applications in both domestic and industrial/commercial air conditioning, replacing R410A where possible. R32 is a low flammable refrigerant classified A2L. R32 finds applications in the operation of domestic split and commercial air conditioning systems, and in some cases it is also used in chillers. Furthermore, R32 is a component for many blends used on the market with a low GWP. It can find application in many appliances given its main feature of having cooling performance very similar to R22. From an ecological point of view, R32 is a gas with an average GWP of 675 and an ODP of 0.
