Technical gases are used in almost all industrial processes: in the mechanical industry for welding and metal cutting applications , in the chemical industry for cooling and preserving materials, in the electronic industry for the operation of equipment, in civil industry for the treatment of drinking and waste water.
In some cases it is useful to use cylinder formats with limited capacity; For these applications, GeneralGas offers the G-TEC ® line, non-refillable, disposable cylinders with a capacity of 0.95 litres. sold in packs of 12, 6 and 1 piece.
G-TEC ® Cylinders are made of carbon steel, in accordance with the EN ISO 11118:2015 standard, have operating pressures of 110 bar and are available in the following formats:
  • G-Argon
  • G-Carbon Dioxide (carbon dioxide - CO 2 )
  • G-Mix Argon-Carbon Dioxide (Argon mix - 15% CO 2 )
  • G-Oxygen (oxygen)
  • G-Nitrogen (nitrogen)
  • G-Mix Nitrogen-Hydrogen (Nitrogen - 5% Hydrogen mix)

G-Oxygen is compressed oxygen at 110 bar in 0.95 liter cylinders. Oxygen in atmospheric conditions (15°C and 760mm Hg) is an indispensable gas for the maintenance of life, being an integral part of all respiration and oxidation processes. Oxygen is colourless, odorless and tasteless and is present in the earth's atmosphere in a percentage equal to 20.94%. At atmospheric pressure, and temperatures below -183°C, Oxygen is a colorless liquid slightly denser than water.

Applications:

G-Oxygen is used in the following applications:

  • Brazing/Brazing in the maintenance and installation of refrigeration, air conditioning and plumbing systems;
  • Brazing where the aesthetic aspect of the joint is of priority importance (goldsmith, jewellery, musical instruments, eyewear industry, sculptures, etc.)

Performance:

G-Oxygen is an oxidising gas. Used in mixture with combustible gases, it increases the flame temperature.

Flammability:

G-Oxygen is an oxidising gas; avoid contact with oils or other easily flammable substances.
